Bradford on Avon & District u3a

Groups

We have over seventy groups

Skills sharing and member volunteering are the backbone of the u3a movement. In our u3a, members take part in learning, creative, and physical pursuits in groups which cover a wide range of activities. We are always happy to launch new ones.

If you are already a u3a member then you can contact a Group Coordinator through the Beacon Members’ Portal or click on any of the links in the listings below. You can discover new interests, learn, meet people, make friends and enjoy your free time. Taking part and belonging to a community can bring untold benefits for your health and wellbeing.

Why not start a group yourself?

Groups are member-run, and if you have an interest not currently represented, you can start a new group.

You don't need to teach the subject—just initiate it and involve others. We provide support and guidance from the beginning and as your group develops.

Group Coordinator's Support Documents can all be found on the Documents page.
