If you’re looking for a warm, encouraging space to grow as a writer, I run a free Creative Writing Group at Bradford on Avon Library. I’m Lynn Griffin, a published author, and every other Thursday from 5.15 to 6.45 our friendly group gathers to write, share, and build confidence together.

I believe that every writer - whether brand new or seasoned - has a voice worth developing. It’s often said that there’s a book in everyone, but what matters most is the desire to write, explore, and express yourself. Each week I bring a fresh writing prompt to spark ideas, but you’re always welcome to bring your own work, whatever stage it’s at.

As a group, we offer gentle, constructive critique designed to help you strengthen your craft and feel proud of your progress. Many members enjoy reading their pieces aloud, and bringing a few printed copies helps us give thoughtful, supportive feedback. Alongside the group, I run a blog where I spotlight other authors and share practical hints and tips to keep your creativity moving.
