Science

]Our Science group is a self-led, informal learning community who share a curiosity about how the world works. We focus on learning for pleasure. You do not need a scientific background to join. While some members may be retired scientists, many are simply enthusiasts who enjoy exploring new topics.

Meetings usually feature a presentation by a member of our group or an invited speaker followed by a lively Q&A session. We also offer site visits to various destinations where transport is shared between the group. The emphasis is on accessible, jargon-free learning that makes complex subjects understandable for everyone.
